QUEEN ELIZABETH CALLS FOR 'QUIET REFLECTION' IN 2014

LONDON (AFP). Queen Elizabeth II urged people to take time for a quiet reflection in 2014, in her annual Christmas Day message to the Commonwealth.
The head of the 53-country organisation looked back on her own few decades as monarch, in a personal broadcast on Wednesday. These were her words,
'We all need to get the balance right between action and reflection. With so many distractions it is easy to forget and pause to take stock."Be it through contemplation, prayer, or even keeping a diary, many have found the practice of quiet personal reflection surprisingly rewarding.
Long live the Queen.
