FEMALE PATIENT ATTACKED BY NIGERIAN DOCTOR FOR DISAGREEING WITH DIAGNOSIS

According to UK Dialy Mail A Nigerian doctor allegedly attacked a female patient in his place of work when she disagreed with his diagnosis.

Dr Abiodun Bale,42, (pictured above) grabbed sheena cunningham as she tried to leave his                           consultation room in tears after they argued over treatment for a facial condition.

The doctor from Nigeria denied assault when he appeared in court but was found guilty after a                      two-day trial. He was given a six-month conditional discharge but will face a disciplinary hearing at work      and could lose his job.

Bale who qualified as a doctor at the university of Lagos in 1995, worked as a gynaecologist in his                home country before going to Britain and registering with the General Medical Council in 2006.

Doctors, remember the oath you swore.

  1. He has been acquitted of the charge . You wonder why the case was allowed to get to court in the first place. I also noticed that the Daily Mail online UK, the original source of the story, has only added an addendum about the successful Appeal at the bottom of the original page. They are not given it as much prominence as the original story- which is damaging for thd Dr's reputation. I learnt they are a Racist paper Moral- not everything is as it seems. I hope you give this new story the same prominence. http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/11175987.East_Lancs_doctor_s_assault_case_conviction_quashed/
