LABANESE BOSS ARRESTED FOR BEATING PREGNANT WOMAN
The Lebanese boss who allegedly beat up a pregnant factory worker, causing her to lose her 7 months pregnancy has been arrested by the Nigerian police. Kaveh Noine, a manager with Toppan Printing Company located in Ikeja Industrial Estate, was arrested on Friday December 27, 2013 in Kano where he fled to and was brought back to Lagos to face justice.

She confirmed that Mr Noine had assaulted her several times during her short stay at the company and indeed kicked her in the stomach few days before she lost her pregnancy. Alexandra also said the Labanese manager was in the habit of physically assaulting other workers whenever he felt they stepped out of line.
Not only will Mr Noine face justice for what he did to Alexandra, but the Lagos State Government via the Lagos State Public Advice Centre, also wants to bring other assault charges against him. CBN GOVERNOR FORCED TO LEAVE OVER LEAKED LETTER
Sahara reporters have learnt that Nigerian CBN Governor, Sanusi lamido Sanusi, will be forced to leave his post in March, 2014 two months before the formal expiration of his tenure.
Two sources at the presidency and a source at the Central bank disclosed that Mr Sanusi as been ordered to proceed on o post retirement leave in March. According to all the sources, the early exit for the CBN henchman is occasioned by Mr Sanusi recent leaked letter to President Goodluck Jonathan, detailing the theft of close to $50 billion dollars in oil proceeds by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation. (NNPC).

DOE B: RAPPER SHOT DEAD AND KILLED AT 22 YEARS OLD
A violent shooting has tragically taken another young rapper, DOE B (real name Glenn Thomas), who was part of T.I's hip hop Collective Hustle was unfortunately shot and killed after performing early in the morning on Dec 28 in his hometown of Montgomery.
The fatal shooting reportedly occurred at Centennial Hill Bar and Grill, according to Rap-Up. Another Woman, 21 year old Kim Johnson was also shot dead in the incidence.

MAN RAPES AND IMPREGNATES 14 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER
The Police in Lagos said it has arrested a 36 year old man who allegedly raped and impregnated his 14 year old daughter. The Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Ngozi Braide, made this known when she briefed newsmen in Ikeja on Friday. Braid said that the girl has been pregnant for the past two months and the man claim to be bewitched.
She added that the mother of the girl divorced her father two years ago. Braide added that the matter was reported at the Meiran Police Station of the area 'M' Police Command.
The victim told newsmen that her father brought a native doctor who convinced her that sex was part of the treatment to cure her undisclosed sickness before she was raped.
"My father gives me native soap and sponge probably for ritual bath always.
He once entered the bathroom with me and had sex with me forcefully.
He took me to bed several times forcefully in his room and when i refused, he threatened me with a knife.
Since then, he had been making love to me under the guise that i will be cured", she said.
CHINA EASES ONE CHILD POLICY
Hong Kong (CNN) --China's top legislature approved resolutions to officially amend its controvertial one-child policy and end re-education through labour camps.
The Standing committee of the National Peoples Congress passed the resolutions on Saturday. The resolution is equal to a legal document in China.
The changes to the one-child policy, first announced last month, will mean couples will be allowed to have two children if one of the parents was an only child. Currently, both parents must be sole children to be eligible for a second child.
The one-child policy, which started in the 1970s, is believed to have prevented some 400 million births.
The easing of the one-child policy is expected to go into effect in some regions in the first quarter of 2014, according to Xinhua.

Malky Makay was " relieved of his duties" as manager of Cardiff city Friday just 11 days after being told by the English Premier League club's Malaysian owner Vincent Tan he must resign or be sacked.
A statement on the club's official website confirmed the fate of the 41year old Scotsman, adding that a new first team manager could be appointed in due course.
The departure of Mackay was widely expected after his very public falling out with billionaire businessman Tan, who has had a controlling share in the Welsh club since 2010.
Tan sent Mackay an email on December 16, with the resign or be sacked ultimatum.
PYTHON KILLS SECURITY GUARD IN BALI
According to CNN, a Python has killed a security guard near a luxury hotel in Bali, Indonesia.
A doctor told CNN that a man's corpse was brought to RSUP Sanglash Denpasae Hospital in Bali on Friday. A large snake appears to have suffocated the man, said the doctor, who did not wish to be identified.
The body has been released to the family the doctor said.
The python remains on the loose after strangling the guard, who was trying to capture the large snake, according to Agence France-Presse.

Dr Abiodun Bale,42, (pictured above) grabbed sheena cunningham as she tried to leave his consultation room in tears after they argued over treatment for a facial condition.
The doctor from Nigeria denied assault when he appeared in court but was found guilty after a two-day trial. He was given a six-month conditional discharge but will face a disciplinary hearing at work and could lose his job.
Bale who qualified as a doctor at the university of Lagos in 1995, worked as a gynaecologist in his home country before going to Britain and registering with the General Medical Council in 2006.
