US CONDEMS NIGERIA FOR PROHIBITING SAME SEX MARRIAGE

The United States yesterday criticized Nigeria for approving a law that punishes same sex marriage because the law goes against basic human rights.

According to their secretary of States, John Kerry, United States was deeply concerned about Nigeria's new law which "dangerously restricts freedom of assembly, association and expression for all Nigerians. The act "is inconsistent with Nigeria's international legal obligations and undermines the democratic reforms and human rights protections enshrined in its 1999 constitution."

"People everywhere deserve to live in freedom and equality. No one should face violence or discrimination for who they are or who they love,"Kerry said.

Anyone who is caught in same-sex union will be jailed for 14 years, the new law states.

O.J SIMPSON UNDERGOING TESTS FOR BRAIN CANCER

According to a new report by National Enquirer, jailed former football star O.J Simpson is receiving tests for brain cancer and he's begging President Obama for a pardon so he can die in peace at home.

The magazine claims that Simpson, 66, who is serving a 33 year sentence in a prison in Neveda for kidnapping, assault and robbery, is undergoing secret medical exams for a cancerous tumor in his brain and is convinced he won't live long.

The Enquirer reports that Simpson told a friend, 'I feel the end coming. But I don't want to die in prison like common jailhouse scum. O.J is up for parole in 2017.

This 43 year old woman has revealed her secret addiction to drinking paint on the season premiere of TLC's My Strange Addiction.

Heather Beal, a mother of two, admits that she has guzzled close to three gallons since first started the practice 3 years ago. Her bizarre habit began after her mother died, though no one has seen her drink paint.- especially not her children.

'As it's going down your throat, it feels very nice and warm, almost like a thicker version of warm milk,'she says. 'But obviously, it's got that very strong chemical taste, which is perfect to me.'

Ms Beal says that she prefers paint in marker form, and goes to hardware store to feed her habit. Every day she pries the cap off one paint marker and drinks the content.

'I drink paint from markers because I have looked for other paint both in quart or gallon form, and I haven't found one that satisfies my desire,' she explains.

Ms Beal however got a wake-up call after she learnt from a doctor that she has done damage to her kidneys. When asked what she would feel like if one of her kids drank paint, she vowed to kick the habit- and in a recent interview with TLC insisted that she has stayed cleaned.

According to a Bloomberg report that was released today, Africa's richest man and founder of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, made $9.2 billion in 2013 alone, raising his fortune to over $30 billion and making him the 30th richest person in the world.

Bill Gates is back to being the richest man in the world after making $15.8 billion in 2013 alone and raising his fortune to $78.5 billion.

Bloomberg's billionaires index showed that the 300 richest people in the world increased their wealth by $524 billion in 2013 and the aggregate net worth of the world's top billionaires stood at $3.7 trillion at the close of market on December 31.

PREGNANT KERRY WASHINGTON FIGHTING WITH HUBBY NNAMDI ASOMUGHA!

According to National Enquirer, Kerry Washington may have a "Scandal" of her own brewing because a source says her new marriage already has hit a rocky patch after only 6 months.

Nnamdi Asomugha is complaining Kerry has time to promote her TV Show, business ventures and charities, but she rarely spares an evening to be home with me. So, Nnamdi said he is concerned that they are already growing apart.

Sources told National Enquirer:

"Instead of slowing down during her show's Christmas hiatus, Kerry funneled her extra time into her fashion consultation business and her responsibilities as a creative consultant for Neutrogena cosmetics said the source.

Kerry feels she can balance a public life and private life with Nnamdi and their baby. But Nnamdi is not convinced. They've had several blow-ups, and each time Kerry swears she's going to slow down. But in the end she may lose something that doesn't come along very often- a loving husband."
